Adopted

I am a 2-3 year old, under 20 pound, female spayed Tibetan spaniel mix who loves to chase a tennis ball, and will fetch and carry it back, not always to you (I like to see how long it will take to train you to stand where I want to bring it back ;-), but I WILL fetch it. I love being around other dogs and also snuggle with cats. I have not been around small children so maybe I would be better with adults or older teens. I was originally from WV and rescued from a hoarder so I was a bit timid at first, but will warm up quickly for a pet or a snuggle. Boy, do I like to be petted. I am in a foster home and they are really nice and showing me how fun the world can be. My other housemates, rescued from this group have done beautifully within a few weeks in their new homes, so I hear. An environment with another dog will make me feel comfortable right away, but I could also be an only dog, as long as I am not alone all day because I need socialization. I am looking for a family now.....please fill out an application so my foster mom can make sure I am at the shelter to meet you.

Hi, I am Jada. I am a spayed female ~2 year old Doberman mix. I have the softest fur and I love getting pats, and playing with Frankie, one of my kennel mates. We have such a good time together. We shared everything in our kennel and take care of each other. I am looking for a great family to take really good care of me. I long for the day when I can have a dog bed and kick back and relax after a run or a hike. I am active outside but i calm right down in the house. I can sit for treats and I love treats because i didn't get a lot of food in my previous life. I am now in a foster home with a family and two other dogs. If you let me, I will curl up in your lap, even though I know I am too big for that. I get along great with other dogs. I LOVE going for walks and will sit nicely at the door waiting to go out. I have also learned quickly how to sit on command in my foster home. I really enjoy learning new things. My foster mom is very happy that I have had no accidents in the house, am very quiet, and I sleep overnight in my crate too with no problem. Please fill out an online application if you would like to meet me and my foster mom will take me for a ride to the Meet and Greet to visit with you.

Adopted

Jewel is an adorably tiny 7 year old Pom who is full of spunk and attitude. She has that little prance to her step that is the cutest thing to watch. She loves to be held 24/7, what a lap dog. Well, this little gem had a rough start in life so she needed some blood work and a chest xray to make sure she's okay. She has what might be slight allergies and she needs a good dental cleaning as her teeth have lots of tartar. These minor medical issues can be resolved with homeopathy and good herbal supplements, but she does need the cleaning, so we're asking for a few supporters to raise the funds for this. We will only consider a gentle adopter who will keep her as a lap dog and make up to her all the loving she's missed. A holistic home will assure her of a long, healthy life. Adult home only as she was not raised with children that we're aware of. She was fostered by a single woman and did great. Jewel is housebroken and weighs about 6 to 7 pounds, maybe less. She got along great with the other little dogs in the household. She is available now but in a foster home. If you are interested, please fill out an application and we will be in touch if you are a match for this precious dog. Donations to cover the extra medical costs would be sincerely appreciated.

She's reputedly housetrained too! Sounds like the perfect dog. History: She came from a shelter in rural WV that we've worked with for years, wonderful people so dedicated to finding homes for dogs. This is Tye. He is a year old, 16 lbs, heartworm negative, neutered little dog. We're not sure of his breed, but it's something small. Tye was dumped in rural TN and was fostered inside the home. He had never been an indoor dog so he learned a lot in the couple weeks he was there. They were amazed how polite he was, never on the furniture...of course that changed when he saw their dogs lounging on the new furniture. He was confused on where in the world to go potty but within a week he was trained to go outside. He may lapse in a new environment but he will come around once he's acclimated to his new home. He will not share his food with other dogs and we think it was because he has had a shortage of groceries in his life. He's fine with people and food, just won't share with dogs. He has been around cats and not been interested, he has been a gentle boy and just wants love and kindness. His foster mom can leave and he won't tear anything apart. He now walks on a leash and rides in the car pretty well but wants to be on your lap. He is a cute little guy and will make someone a special companion. He is available after Labor Day. Our process is to fill out an application first and we will contact you. Thanks!
