Adopted

Hi, My name is Allie, and I am the sweetest dog you will ever meet. I am 5 years old, and very well-behaved in my foster home. My foster mom says I am totally house-broken, and know my basic commands. I 'sit' nicely for meal times, and walk nicely on a leash. I'm a kind soul - and greet you with a wagging tail and hugs and kisses too! I enjoy playing fetch outside, as well as chilling out inside. I would love to sit by the fire, curl up and watch TV with you, or go for a nice long walk. Please apply online and I can ask my foster mom to bring me to the shelter to meet you. Apply at http://saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp . Thanks!

Adopted

Born on November 6th, this litter of six puppies (2 males and 4 females) nursed from their mother for two weeks before having to be bottle fed. While in foster care, they have spent time with three family dogs and with teens and up. They are all confident, boisterous puppies who love crinkly toys and antlers. They have experienced lots of playtime both indoors and out and love to chase in the snow. No small children, please. They would be best with teens and up as they have sharp teeth and also could be hurt if dropped or stepped on. Local families only because they are still very young and we want to have them close. We always prefer holistic-minded adopters who understand that vaccines need to be spaced apart and are not a guaranty against disease. They are just being weaned off of milk and onto a high quality kibble. Available after 1/3/18 to applicants by private showings. No phone calls, please. Beautiful Bindi is the largest of the female puppies at just over 6 lbs. She has a big personality, plays hard and would do well with another dog.

Adopted

Hi, I'm Brownie and I need a new home. They say I'm a Corgi/Heeler mix. I weigh 25 pounds. I'm very lovable. I'm neutered. I'm lyme positive but Save A Dog is running the C6 test to determine if I need to be treated or not. For sure I will get homeopathic remedies. My foster mom says, "Brownie is a sweet, shy little soul, becoming quickly acclimated to his new surroundings. He will follow you around the house just to see what the next new adventure will be. He thoroughly loves playing in the snow and rolls around in it. He loves squeaky toys and chewing on a bully stick! Brownie loves going for walks and has become more comfortable with street noises. Brownie is good about going in the crate, may bark at first but settles down. He is totally housebroken. He will be a great companion for some an adult home. He's going to be such a cuddle bug with his people." Here's my Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHUX1cKOaRQ&feature=youtu.be

Hi there, my name is Marie and I'm a 2 year old Redtick Coonhound mix. I am an extremely lovable dog. I'm a friendly girl and am great with kids but foster mom says teens and up as I can be mouthy when excited. I do love to run, too. So a large yard would be great....with a fence to keep me home so I don't become a stray again. I'm in a foster home and am totally housebroken and a couch potato inside, literally I want to be on the sofa or on a soft bed. I like the outside so will let you know when I want to go out. I'm fine with city noises and my foster mom takes me running every day. I like most dogs I've met and lived with 9 at one time. There are a few dogs I don't like and it's best to be introduced on a walk and not nose-to-nose. My foster mom thinks I would be happiest with a male dog. I will chase cats so no kitties for me. I was fine with the chickens and guinea hens when I was in Indiana. I am VERY lovable and VERY comical and will bring a lot of joy to whatever home I get. I love the toy box, must have toys, and my favorites are the squeaky toys. At night I will settle down nicely in my bed. Please adopt me! My coloring with ticking is a work of art. I am at the shelter today.

"Normal" dog things are all very new to Mason, and he's working very hard to build the confidence to check them all out. Mason prefers to watch his BFF Brick get human affection and attention first, just to make sure the human is safe. Hi everybody, I'm Nina and I am one tough little cookie. I made it through the terrible hurricane that hit and ravished my original home near the Virgin Islands and now I am here at Save a Dog looking for my new forever home. I am currently in a foster home where I have opened up from being a shy little pup to a pup with a great and fun personality. My fosters have 4 dogs of their own ranging from small to large and I enjoy playing with all of them. I am crated trained and housebroken and a very quiet pup - no barking since I arrived at my foster home. I love to ride in the car and enjoy walking on my leash now that I am starting to understand what it is all about.

I just spent my Sunday afternoon at an event with my foster mom where I met lots people and lots of dogs. She told me I was a big hit and did great!! I love to play with stuffed toys and the more I have the happier I am. I have even been playing tug-o-war with a big 90# boxer....we are best buds and hang out together. I know once you meet me and I get used to you we will be best of friends.

If you are interested in meeting me please fill out the online application at saveadog.org.
