Billy is 2-3 years old Peke mix. He has puppy energy and a real positive outlook on life. He doesn't know a stranger and is a joy to have around. Someone is going to be very luck to adopt him and we look forward to the updates for years to come. Some details: he's already neutered and seems housebroken. He weighs 30 lbs. He walks well on leash and ignored the neighbor's outdoor cats. He appears to be a pekinese mix but is around 30 pounds and about the size of a 17 inch spaniel. He arrived on the 10th so will be available from Monday on, after his health exam. Please fill out an application to meet him.

Collette, 10 months Female Aussie /Shep/Collie

Collette is a beautiful Australian Shepherd/Collie mix. She is 10-12 months. This beautiful girl was found in a high kill shelter, shivering and huddled in a corner. Collette is extremely friendly and loves everyone she meets. We have seen her around families and she is a bit of a herder, so kids 10 and older are best. She is too curious with cats so we think no cats in the home. She walks well on the leash and thoroughly enjoys her daily walks. Leash walks will not be enough for her though; she is a big dog so will need more exercise than that. A fenced yard to play with you would be great. She may not be the dog park dog as she may be too much for little dogs. She also rides perfectly in the car. She does look to bond with her special person so she needs to be in a home that will make her an important member. She is in foster with male dogs and a submissive female. She will nudge another dog to be first in line for a pet. Collette has so much love to share and is eagerly waiting for her forever home.

Haley is a tiny 9 lb. Chihuahua mix who is great with dogs and cats and is friendly with people too. Bring her home for the Holidays! Haley is a 3-5 year old female. She was a stray. She is good with cats and other small dogs. She is a little shy when she first meets you but really just wants to snuggle on the couch. She is quiet and sweet. She is just about house trained. She will sit quietly in a crate but would really rather be with you. She would do best with kids 10 and older. She is presently fostered with 3 other dogs and does fine. She is so eaasy and calm. Mindye is a female she is purebred Beagle who has the heavy bone structure of a Basset. You would think he was a Basset mix. Her breeder raised her for field trials, but she didn't qualify so she gets to be a wonderful companion dog for someone. She's a sweet girl who will need some training. The Beagles we have gotten in the past from this breeder have made tremndous family pets and are extrememly loving. She is arriving early this week and will be available by mid week. She is getting spayed 1/26/15 but can go home after that. She loves kids, is very affectionate and loving, and she was raised with lots of dogs so she loves her doggy friends. Molly is a very sweet and friendly 9 year old female spayed Yellow Lab who recently lost her home due to a divorce. She looks and acts more like a six year old Lab than a 9 year old. She is a star at Save A Dog and we all would adopt her if we didn't have so many dogs ourselves. She is going to be the love of someone's life! She bonds nicely with her people and is sweet with all. Pippa is really a retriever in a small dog body. She will fetch a ball and bring it back every time! Cute as a button. ‘P’ is for ‘PLAY’, ‘PUPPY’ and ‘PIPPA’! This sweet girl loves to give kisses, especially to anyone who will play with her. She loves her toys, her people and her food. Another dog to play with? How exciting! Even being fostered with two grumpy old Chihuahuas and a curmudgeonly cat can’t dampen her spirits! She takes it all in stride. And when play time is over? It’s time to snuggle up with a nice bone in her crate, where she sleeps all night without a peep! Got kids? Oh Joy!, says Pippa. They love to play as much as I do! Sadie is a beautiful 50 lb. female Shepherd/Leonberger mix. Sadie is a recent return. She would do best with an experienced dog adopter. She would do best with a fenced in yard. She loves bigger dogs but is too much for little ones she would over power them. We dont think she would do well with cats. Sadie may be shy at first. She does bond closely with her family and can be protective with visitors so we'll need her adopter to be connected with a trainer right away. We believe Sadie will flourish in the right environment with the right trainer. She will worship the ground you walk on. Her family was very sad to return her.
