Adopted

Bear is a five year old Shepherd mix. He's a total cup cake of a dog with women and has not shown any aggression to the men he meets -- he just can't live with them.. He was abused by a man so we think anyone who reminds him of his abuser is not going to be liked. He's a very gentle soul and just likes to hang out on the sofa or explore the yard. Any single female households who want to work with him? We will help with training/behavioral work. Bear is a German Shepherd mix from Georgia and was rescued from horrific neglect and abuse. He was beaten by his owner and starved. He was treated by the rescuers for heart worm and is ready for his forever home. He's up to 66 pounds. A single adult home is preferred or all female home. He's not afraid of thunder and he seems to ignore cats. He is a very very gentle boy. He wasn't cat tested. He is Good with dogs. Rides well in a car and walks well on a leash. Just needs lots of love and to know there are good people in the world. Donations will help cover his transport and quarantine fees. He is being fostered with a couple and so far it's going great with the husband, but he's a dog whisperer so we're hoping for an all-female home. Apply at http://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp
