Minnie is a four month old beagle/terrier pup who is coming on the 19th of March and will be available after the 21st. We will review applications for her at our March 15th meet and greet at Especially for Pets in Wayland from 2-4.

Jake is the largest male in a litter of pups. He has one blue eye. This litter of pups was born to an English lab who mated with a male Australian Shepherd. They are 4 months old now. There are 3 females and 2 males. Arrival date is 2/20/08 and they will be quarantined and receive a health certificate and be ready to go on the 22th.

Tristan is one of six adorable lab/collie mix puppies who about 14 weeks old and available for adoption as of 3/21/08. No phone calls please. He is very shy here, but was very outgoing at his TN foster home so we believe it's just the trauma of the transition and he will blossom in his foster home. This is the case for all his littermates as well. All available dogs and puppies will be at our Meet and Greet on Sat 3/22 at Mahoney's Garden Center in Wayland from 1-3 PM.

Buttons is as cute as a button and only 4 months old. He weighs 12 lbs. He and Patches were rescued from a rescuer who was overwhelmed with dogs. They are 4 months old, male, and will be adopted separately. His picture doesn't do him justice. He's so cute! Both love other dogs and are especially respectful of larger and older dogs. They move like are small and fast, so a secure fence or apt with doors in between the outside would be great. They may be fine for a condo/townhouse/apt as they are about 10 lbs now so it is doubtful they will grow to be beyond 40 lbs. Vet says they are at least 16 weeks so they would have been born by 11/25/07 at the latest. So these are going to be pint-sized dogs. Holistic home is preferred for this sweet dog.

Carly is a gorgeous dog who was a Tennessee stray. She is good on a leash, never meets a stranger......someone has to have lost this dog. She gives paw. It's so cute. She has been taken care of and played with. Arriving 3/19 and available after 3/21.

James is a 3-4 month old adorable male Lab mix. He was dumped at a business on the coldest day of the year. A woman who works there called and asked a dog rescuer to come get him. He is named Little James because a man who works there is named James and the lady told him the pup was Little James! He is adorable....so friendly with everyone and every dog.

Lizzie, Skye, and Monita (pictures are left to right) are a litter of female pups born to a Border Terrier/Terrier mix mom on 1/13/08. They are being fostered in NY on the NY/CT/MA border and will be seen by our holistic vet for first vaccines at 9 weeks old. We will accept applications and they can be seen after their vaccinations. They have been with their mom from the beginning and are happy and playful. Our preference would be stay-at-home or work-from-home adult homes or with older children. We will consider NY applications as they are fostered in NY. They are not 100% non-shedding because we don't know who the father is, but we think Corgi as they are small and one has a naturally bobbed tail. You could consider them as "low shedding" dogs. Monita is the smallest at five lbs and is white; Lizzie is six lbs and is tan and white; Skye is medium brown and is six lbs.

Sadie is ADOPTED!! Here's a picture of Sadie meeting new family. As soon as the home visit was finished and they were approved, they had to rush right over and get her. That's what I like to see in a dog adopter. And the foster home wasn't exactly up the street either. She was an hour away! She is going to be one well-loved dog.
Sadie was given up by her breeder/owner as she refused to nurse her puppies. She is a nice dog who loves to be the center of attention. She is calm and quiet, loves to carry a toy or ball in her mouth. She is soft and gentle. She will be available after 3/21/08.

This is Caleb. He is a 1-2 years old shepherd/lab mix, fully vetted, a little shy with strangers, but once he knows you he will lick your hands or face off! He is 66# and loves to play with other dogs. He is good with small dogs, loves cats, loves playing outdoors in a fenced yard, is good in the car, good on a leash and housebroken. Caleb is a dog who has blossomed in foster care. He came from a high kill shelter and had probably been ignored for the first year of his life. He would not let her touch him for months...then finally decided she was okay. He now demands attention from everyone. He was never aggressive even when he was very afraid of everyone. He is a very good dog....just needs a family who will give him time to get to know them and he will make a good family pet.
