 Dogs Adopted in January 2004

Molly, 15 wks old Female Lab     Adopted
This sweet puppy just arrived. She is about 14-15 weeks old and very submissive. She seems to love water too as her tail never stopped wagging during bathtime. She has a beautiful labby coat and possibly a hint of collie. This is a nice, nice puppy.

Kettle, 15 wks old male Lab/Hound     Adopted
Meet our precious Kettle. He is one of 8 puppies that found their way to the PAWS Shelter. He is about 15 weeks old and is a Labrador Retriever/Hound mix with maybe a little Border Collie thrown in. Kettle was a little shy when he first arrived. But he has quickly learned that humans are great and is really becoming very people oriented. His personality and friendliness is starting to show. He will be an affectionate, fun-loving companion.

Holly, 11 wks old female Chihuahua mix     Adopted
She is small with a very pretty sable coat. We think she is a Chihuahua who is mixed with something unknown. She should weigh about 20 lbs when fully grown. Holly is a very playful, bouncy puppy. She loves people and wiggles every part of her body when you great her. She is just the happiest thing - her tail never seems to stop wagging. She is outgoing and giddy. Just a little doll! Please read our requirements for puppy adopters.

Renamed Rangley. Read her Success Story

Winston, 6 mos male English Springer Spaniel, AKC    Adopted
Winston is a beautiful young English Springer Spaniel. He was relinquished because his owners work long hours and want to see him go to a home where he can get more attention than they could give. He is a sweet dog, crate trained and very playful. He loves to play with other dogs and is all play bows and tail wiggles. He loves his toys and is good about entertaining himself. He is just a joy, a delight, so we're looking for the right situation for him.

Ellie, 1 year old female Lab mix  12/20/03
Ellie has a beautiful short black coat and a long slim body. She and her friend Erin were picked up as strays. She is close to a year old and has had her first shots. Ellie is good with other dogs and weighs about 35 lbs. She's a sweetie. She will be spayed on 1/2/03 and ready for adoption afterwards.

Erin, 2 year old female Australian Shepherd mix

Erin has long black hair with brown and white markings. She has a sweet dispostion. Erin walks well on a lead and is approx. 40 lbs. She is probably around 2 years old. She is spayed and ready for adoption. She is housebroken and has mild energy inside but can be very playful outside. She likes to chase balls. She knows sit and down. She chases cats so no cats, please. Adopted

Heidi, 10 mo. old female Lab mix
This 45 lb. female is good with dogs and cats. We mistakenly thought she was 2 and she's actually about 10 mos. old. She has a LOT of energy, but a willingness to learn. She seems to be a lab/hound/shepherd. Nice dog, very affectionate. Adopted

Christy, young female Collie mix
Christy is as affectionate and loving as you will find. "I will sit by your side and cuddle with you all day if you like and if you have other pets that's ok too." She is here now and much tinier than her picture. She's so sweet, very submissive and tail waggy. She looks like a little husky/sheltie mix. Adopted

Chip, Tibetan spaniel mix, approx. 2-3 years old
Meet Chip. He is quite the little guy at only about 8 lbs. . He is housebroeken and crate trained. He will need a home with small dog experience as he can be nippy if picked up too quickly.  No children, please. Adopted

Litter of Lab mix puppies, 3 females and one male
These sweet puppies just arrived. They are about 14-15 weeks old and very submissive. They seem to love water too as the tails never stopped wagging during bathtime. They have beautiful labby coats and possibly a hint of collie. These are nice, nice puppies. Misty.

Bentley, 11 wks old male lab/aussie mix
He is a Labrador/Australian Shepherd mix who is about 9 weeks old (as of 1/10). He came to us as a stray, but is a very socialized puppy. Bentley is full of character and fun. He is an active guy and loves to play. He adores people and is very friendly. He is one happy boy when you give him attention. Bentley is ready to bond. All he needs is a home!

Gibson, 3 month old male Flat-coated Retriever mix
Meet Gibson! He is 3 months old (as of 1/9), and we believe he is a Flat-coated Retriever mix. Gibson is very handsome and can quickly steal your heart. He is very people oriented, and is ready to meet every one who comes by. He is outgoing, active and very playful. He is gentle in nature and affectionate. He is attentive and intelligent. This is a dog that will be a super companion. Adopted

Inga, 11 week old German Shorthair Pointer
This little cutie is Inga. She is 9 weeks old (as of 1/9). We believe she is a German Shorthaired Pointer. It is tough to tell from this pic, but she is liver colored with a few tan markings. She may have a touch of Bluetick Coonhound. She is really adorable and has the prettiest markings. She is a very sweet puppy who adores attention. Really people oriented and perks up when you pet her. She is a little bouncing, bundle of energy and just loves to play and run. Adopted

Jewels, 10 week old Chihuahua mix
This adorable puppy is Jewels. She is 8 weeks old (as of 1/9) and should only grow to be about 20 lbs. We are not sure what her breed mix is - we are guessing some type of Terrier / Chihuahua. She is a real sweet girl who is very personable. She likes people and is affectionate. She is ready to go, and loves to run and play. She will be a great companion. Adopted

Dusty, chihuahua mix
Dusty is a 3 month old Chihuahua/Terrier mix who was the bell of the ball at our adoption event. She has attitude and spunk so will need lots of training in addition to the loving and holding she is going to get. Adopted

Saucer, 16 week old Lab/hound mix. Male
This sweet face belongs to Saucer. He is one of 8 puppies that found their way to the PAWS Shelter. He is about 9 weeks old (as of 12/1) and is a Labrador Retriever/Hound mix with maybe a little Border Collie thrown in. All these puppies have been in foster care where they are learning about living in a house. They are coming along very well with the house training. They all sleep in a crate at night. Saucer is the friendliest puppy of the group. He wants and seeks out human contact. He is outgoing and very playful. A real active guy who is always looking to play and is the last one to settle down at night. He will be great for someone with an active lifestyle. Adopted

Bearded Collie / Beagle mix puppies

Bashful, left, got adopted first.

Grumpy is not a grump at all. He got adopted just in time for the Super Bowl party. Have fun, Grumpy!
