Buttons, 4 months Male Rat Terrier  Mix   Click on picture to enlarge Adopted Buttons is as cute as a button and only 4 months old. He weighs 12 lbs. He and Patches were rescued from a rescuer who was overwhelmed with dogs. They are 4 months old, male, and will be adopted separately. His picture doesn't do him justice. He's so cute! Both love other dogs and are especially respectful of larger and older dogs. They move like are small and fast, so a secure fence or apt with doors in between the outside would be great. They may be fine for a condo/townhouse/apt as they are about 10 lbs now so it is doubtful they will grow to be beyond 40 lbs. Vet says they are at least 16 weeks so they would have been born by 11/25/07 at the latest. So these are going to be pint-sized dogs. Holistic home is preferred for this sweet dog. He is a 1-2 years old shepherd/lab mix, fully vetted, a little shy with strangers, but once he knows you he will lick your hands or face off! He is 66# and loves to play with other dogs. He is good with small dogs, loves cats, loves playing outdoors in a fenced yard, is good in the car, good on a leash and housebroken. Caleb is a dog who has blossomed in foster care. He came from a high kill shelter and had probably been ignored for the first year of his life. He would not let her touch him for months...then finally decided she was okay. He now demands attention from everyone. He was never aggressive even when he was very afraid of everyone. Lizzie, Skye, Monita, 8 weeks on 3/14/08 Female Terrier / Corgi  Mix   Click on picture to enlarge Adopted Lizzie, Skye, and Monita (pictures are left to right) are a litter of female pups born to a Border Terrier/Terrier mix mom on 1/13/08. They are being fostered in NY on the NY/CT/MA border and will be seen by our holistic vet for first vaccines at 9 weeks old. We will accept applications and they can be seen after their vaccinations. They have been with their mom from the beginning and are happy and playful. Our preference would be stay-at-home or work-from-home adult homes or with older children. We will consider NY applications as they are fostered in NY. They are not 100% non-shedding because we don't know who the father is, but we think Corgi as they are small and one has a naturally bobbed tail. You could consider them as "low shedding" dogs.
