She is shy at first, but oh so sweet and submissive. She and her littermate were devoted to each other, so she should be okay with another dog in the household. She loves to run around the yard, has herding instincts, but is also happy to walk at your side. She is the most adorable ACD we've seen in a long time with stunning markings. Curley, Young Male Wirehaired Terrier Click on picture to enlarge Adopted Curley is an energetic wire haired terrier who originated from a pet store and ended up being rescued from the adopter's home by someone who had two elder cockers. Curley was much too much for the older dogs and would not take 'no' for an answer when it comes to playing, so he is now looking for a new home. He was raised with a teenager so absolutely no small children in the household. He would not do well with a full time worker as he has a small bladder and needs lots of playtime outside the crate. He seems to be a purebred and has a nice temperament (for a terrier). Terrier-experienced applicants would be our preference as we want the next home to be his permanent home. He is black with tan highlights on his short wiry fur (some beard - more a goatee) and a docked tail. He acts like a bouncy, active Jack Russell Terrier but of course is larger and darker. He arrived at the shelter with a red collar but no ID or chip - and no one has claimed him. He nipped a little when he first came due to fear but is very friendly and eager for attention and affection but will probably do better with older children due to this history and his very high energy antics.
