I知 Bean, a 55-pound, one-year-old Hound/Bully/Collie mix. I was found on the street and picked up by the sheriff, so I am eager to find my forever home where I can relax and have fun. I like other dogs. I知 active but also take big naps after a play session. My foster says I知 a loving boy who adores people and will thrive with an active family. I'm the most affectionate happy dog you will ever meet. I just love everybody! A volunteer who took me for an adventure writes, "I took Bean for a walk at Wayside today, he did great! Got right into my car and was good on the ride over.
He pulls slightly when he wanted to get to something that smelled good but overall walked nicely on leash. We walked by an elderly yellow lab and Bean stayed with me. No barking, pulling, or trying to get to the other dog.
We met a big black lab and allowed them to sniff each other. The black lab was very hyper and Bean seemed to want to play. He walked up the stairs by the Grist Mill and crossed the bridge over the stream.
He peed and pooped on leash. He would probably be ok in a house without a yard.
He痴 such a sweet solid dog, other than jumping on people he would be fine with kids. He was kissing me the whole time I was buckling him into the car."

Hi, I知 Clover, a small white mixed breed! I知 25 pounds and about a year old. My foster down South described me as sweet, happy, and loving, and I especially love to play with kids and dogs. I do very well in the crate and in the house I never had an accident (will go to the front door). I'm quiet, not a barker. I do have puppy mouthiness, but I'm learning. A volunteer who took me for a walk says, "He likes to walk. He observes everything, (people, cars, other dogs), but doesn't seem bothered or frightened. His tail was wagging the entire walk. He wants to meet every person he sees. He did meet a couple on our walk and they loved him. He is VERY quiet. When it came time to get in the car he rolled over on his back for a belly rub, (which I obliged). He is very sweet. He was also good in the car.

Hi, I'm Cookie, a friendly, lively, year-old Boston Terrier mix. I might have a little Bully in me, but I'm small, just 22 lbs. I have a little underbite. I am very sweet and inquisitive -- I love to play with toys and explore. I play quietly and only bark when the other dogs bark, but I have an off switch. I'm gentle with the grandkids. I am crate-trained and happy to sleep in my crate. I'm very adaptable and would do well in any environment. I can happily play at full speed but also hang out and take a nap! I am spayed, heartworm negative, and ready to find my forever family. My foster mom says I am a very easy keeper, happy to play with toys and entertain myself. Hi I'm Novie! I'm a Louisiana girl and very loving. I'm a nice size. You placed my puppies, Autuman and Winter, last winter. They called me Mama at the time, but now I'm Novie. You can name me whatever you want. I'll come running. Please adopt me! I'm Available 5/23/23. I like to play with my toys and with my friends. I get excited when you put my leash on because I know I'm going somewhere. All that said, I am patient and loving.

ADOPTED! Hi, I'm Piper, an adorable nine year old Min Pin. I'm peppy and affectionate and do not act my age at all. I act more like a five year old dog. I'm also housebroken. I'm good with cats and am very affectionate. I've been an only dog for many years so it might be best I stay as the only dog, but if you have another small dog it might be okay. I'm in a foster home and my foster mom says I love my walks and get excited when I see the leash come out. I'm quiet too, which is nice. I lost my home when I became diabetic. I need two shots a day, but they're easy to give. My blood work is greatly improved and I need less insulin than I did when Save A Dog took me in. Please, I have my whole life ahead of me! Hi, I知 Samantha, a petite two year old German Shepherd. I知 in the 50 lb. range, but every bit a loyal Shepherd who just wants to be with my people. I have been in a foster home and am 100% housebroken. My foster mom says I am a typical German Shepherd (eager to please and quick to learn new commands). I know sit, down, stay, come, leave it, and off. I make great eye contact and will bond quickly to my new family. I love chasing after tennis balls so be prepared for some ball tossing. I walk well on leash and I love my walks, saying hello to people and dogs walking by. After a walk, I値l nap on the floor. I sleep quietly all night in my crate. I ride well in the car. Hi, I'm Ziggy. I was part of a litter of nine pups. My brother, Zach and I had the chance to come to Save A Dog to be adopted. We came from a loving home as our rescuer took in our mom when she was pregnant and took care of the whole litter. I am both healthy and sweet and am ready for adoption, having had my first vaccines and worming. I was born on 10/28/22 so am just 6 months old. I weigh 36 lbs. The dog identifier app says I'm a Greater Swiss/Basset mixed with Retriever, but I will be seen as a Bulldog mix by most. I'm good with cats and dogs. A volunteer took me for a walk and says, "Very happy to walk, sniff, etc. We didn't encounter other dogs but he wanted to meet a man walking by. He tried to follow his nose a few times, but was easily redirected. He is a good trotter. He was great in the car and very affectionate."
