Angel is a 3 and a half months old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Boxer mix from St. Croix. She is as sweet as can be and very quiet in her kennel. She's much cuter than her picture. She weighs about 18 lbs. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines and read for her adoptive home. She's friendly and affectionate. She enjoys the company of other dogs as well as humans. She's available on 4/12/16.

ADORABLE and engaging, Charlie is a 4 year old Silky Terrier who needs a loving adopter. He is the most adorable little guy and deserving of a great home. He is so playful and loving. He loves to run, loves to grab a stuffed animal and run outside with it. He will even chase a ball. Charlie was great with his family and loved to sleep in the bed. He was an only dog but raised with 2 cats. He loves his toys and loves to play. He loves to play fetch/tug-of-war, loves to be near his family when hanging out, follows you around. He loves to go for walks and adores riding in the car. He was turned in by his owner due to family circumstances. He someone who understands the small dog attitudes. A single owner would be great, or a couple (not a roommate situation or a busy environment with lots of visitors). He prefers women over men, at least at first, but lived with a family and loved the Dad too. He becomes frightened and nippy with strangers sometimes, especially men so he will need to get the right training and redirection. He is very smart and knows a lot of commands so that's not the issue. He needs some training with meeting new people when he's on his territory, but he's a little guy and many don't take to having large people reach over them. He is in a foster home, so please fill out the online application if you would like a private appointment to meet him. We're hoping to find him a great home with someone who has terrier experience. Hank, formerly Seth, is a 10 month old Beagle who has Basset features. He originally came from a breeder and was adopted as a puppy in October . His adopters contacted us to return him as he is too active for the two year old living in the house and he is a little rabbit chaser outside, howling when he picks up a scent. He becomes so focused on sniffing outside that he forgets to potty outside so he will need a fenced in yard with house training reminders. Access to the outdoors during the day is a must and a doggy door would be ideal.He is a sweet dog who is great with kids, dogs, and cats (but keep him away from the litter box). Hank needs a hound-savvy adopter who can adequately train him with patience. He knows Sit. He's a beautiful dog who just needs the right home. Beagle experienced adopter would be best due to his hound traits.

Hunter is a 3 year old yellow Lab who was picked up as a stray in KY. He is very thin, he weighs under 40 lbs but should be around 55 lbs. He has a great appetite though so should fatten up quickly! Hunter is eager to please and so incredibly sweet. He's quite calm, happy to run around outside then curl up by your feet for a long nap. He's great with kids and other dogs though he does like to chase cats. He has a short tail, since he came in as a stray, we aren't sure if he was born that way or if it happened in time. Mydia is a beautiful little 8 month old female Finnish Spitz mix (she could be pure, not sure). She was mislabeled as a Chow and sat in a shelter in St. Croix waiting to be adopted. She is a sweet little dog whose furry paws make no noise on your hardwood floors -- she floats! She currently weighs approx 30/35 lbs. She is spayed and vaccinated. She is very affectionate with people and easy going. And she gets along well with all the other dogs. She was the "queen" at the St. Patrick's Day Parade float and handled being in the crowds very well. She is a dream dog and a rare find! She's available starting 4/12/16. Come meet her!
