Hi, I'm Candy. I was born on 11/15 and just joined my foster home. My foster mom says, "She got along great with my pack of 4, figuring out her way around the house. She’s mastered the stairs! When she first got here I had to carry her up and down but after watching the other dogs go up and down, she learned it quick.
So far no accidents, and she has gone potty each time we’ve been outside!
She is GREAT with my kids (3 and 5)."
Another update: "I brought her to work with me again today and this dog is just such a love bug! She is a very chill puppy, just snuggled with a few people, no accidents, was mostly quiet. She rides great in the car

I’m Gumdrop, a 4-month-old, 10-pound Corgi/Jack Russell mix. I even have the characteristic naturally bobbed Corgi tail! I love people and am friendly with every human I meet, including kids. I walk well on a leash and meet other dogs politely on my walks. I adore playing with toys, and my foster mom says I’m very food motivated so am easy to train. I also have a lot of energy and would thrive in an active home where I can get lots of exercise and stimulation. Once I’m tuckered out, I am a world-class snuggler! I might be best as a single dog, as my play style is rough, even though I’m little. I’m still learning how to be comfortable in a crate and will benefit, like any puppy, from someone who is home a lot and is willing to put in the time to teach me what I need to learn. UPDATE: During Minnie's health exam our vet noted that she has advanced dental disease and needs extractions of her rear molars. The estimate is approximately $2200. Donations needed. Her dental will be on Wednesday, February 7th. Aside from that she's a LOVE! She's 7 years old and loves her toys. She loves to cuddle with her human on the sofa. She was with one family since puppyhood, but due to a divorce she is needing a new family. She was raised with toddlers but would prefer older kids, tweens and up. Minnie is 100% house trained and will whine to go out. She knows sit and down and kennel-up. She sleeps in her crate at night, but we're sure she would love to be in the bed with her people. Her fur is wired, so she is considered low shedding. She gets groomed every 3 months.

I was found walking up and down a rural road looking for them, but they never came for me. My foster in Louisiana doesn't know why, because she says I'm the best girl ever! She wrote, "Phoenix is so easy. She loves the outside, and when she comes in, she goes straight to her bed because she is ready to eat and sleep. She is so loving. She will sit beside you and paw you when she wants to be petted. She isn't very active, just loves to lie in her bed by your feet."
