Rajah

Adopted

Rajah is a six year old very friendly and outgoing Norweigian Elkhound mix who has a short tail. He came to us from a rescue in WV. He was rescued from a kill shelter 3 years ago and made his home with the director of the humane society, but she has way too many dogs and he deserves a home of his own. He is a sweetheart of a dog. He is housebroken, good with cats, kids, and dogs. He could lose a few pounds, but he is generally healthy and has a beautiful salt and pepper coat. He's a jolly happy boy who will make someone a wonderful companion. He is totally housebroken and great on leash. He pretty much ignores other dogs and runs away from the puppies when they jump on him, but we heard he will chase a cat, which seems hard to believe, but because the original rescuer says no cats, we will honor her request.

Sweetheart, 10 weeks Female Basenji / Wire-haired Dachshund  Mix
Sweetheart

Adopted

Sweetheart is a 10 week old small mixed breed dog. She was reputed to be a Chihuahua/terrier, but we don't see those breeds. She is more like an Italian Greyhound/Basenji mix. She is adorable, already crate-trained and sits for treats. She has caught on to clicker training and loves it. She can jump up in the air like an agility champion. She is as sweet as her name sounds and is much fun as a barrel of monkeys. She won't last so fill out your application now and ask questions later.

Whitey
Whitey

Adopted

Whitey is a 15 to 18 month old female spayed Golden retriever mix. She appears to be mixed with husky and/or chow as she has a thicker, double coat. She is in a foster home and goes to a nursing home every day to visit the family's ailing aunt. Everyone at the nursing home loves her as she is so gentle and well-behaved. She was originally a WV stray who was taken in by a rescue group who fosters. She is young, silly, and adorable. She is crate trained, loves toys and balls, loves other dogs and is friendly. She would chase a cat if it ran, but if it was a dog-savvy cat, she wouldn't bother it. She loves to play!
