	Simone is a small Sheltie or Shepherd mix who loves to play with other dogs. He is came to us from a shelter in WV. He will be neutered prior to adoption. He is sweet and gentle. Very mild mannered. Renamed Pogo. Read his Success Story

Janie, 2 years old Female Black Lab Mix Adopted
	Janie is a 2 year old lab mix from WV. She looks retriever, but has a longer face with some collie or shepherd. She is sweet and lovely, pretty calm and low key for a lab. She will be spayed prior to placement. She had a litter of pups not too long ago. She weighs about 65 lbs. Read her Success Story

Scarlett, 1 year old Female Vizsla Mix Adopted

Scarlett is a one year old very affectionate and people-focused Vizsla-mix. She was rescued from an inner city dog pound where she was literally starving to death due to kennel stress. She had been at the pound for six weeks and her time was coming to an end. This loving and playful girl is now fully recovered. Goofy, 10-12 weeks Male Greyhound/Pointer Mix Adopted
	Goofy is one of a litter of pups whose mom is also with Save A Dog (Snoopy). Both parents are greyhound/hound mixes. Goofy and his sibs are very lovable and playful. They came from an apartment situation and the land lord said all dogs must go so they were brought to a shelter in WV and from there to MA. Renamed Kashi. Read his Success Story

Bambi, 7 months old Female Great Dane Mix Adopted

Bambi is a sweet, young pup who is going to need a large place to run, preferably a fenced in back yard. She is very Dane-like in her features and personality. She loves being with people and listens when you call her name. She loves playing with other dogs and despite her size plays well with dogs of all sizes and ages. Ben, 5 mos old Male Golden Retriever / Spaniel  Mix     Adopted This adorable face belongs to Ben. He is a Golden Retriever/Spaniel mix who is about 5 months old. He is a real doll and easily wins your heart. He is very people focused and lives to please you. He has a gentle, loving manner to him. He is smart and responsive, so he should train very well. He gets along fine with the other dogs and is happy to play with them. For his age, he is fairly mellow and should not be a high-energy dog. With his disposition, Ben should be just fine with kids. He will be such a faithful and loving companion who is sure to add joy to any home. Just give him a chance!

Jitterbug, 5 mos old Female Collie / Lab  Mix     Adopted This cute puppy is Jitterbug. She is ready to dance and highstep her way to a forever home! Jitterbug is a Labrador Retriever/Collie mix. She is about 3 1/2 months old (as of 2/1). She is a beautiful dog with a lovely sable coat that is so soft. She will be a good sized dog when fully grown. She was born on a farm and brought to us when her person could not find a home for her. She had not been inside until she was at the shelter. However, she loves being indoors and will be a nice house dog. She'll just need to learn the best way to behave indoors. She is an affectionate dog who enjoys being around people. Just pet her and watch the tail wag and wag. She is outgoing and playful. She is very attentive to people and wants to please. She is fine with other dogs. Jitterbug will bring lots of fun and love to a home.

Tom, 3 mos Male Sheltie / Beagle  Mix     Adopted This adorable puppy is Tom. He is a Sheltie/beagle mix. Tom is about 14 weeks old as of 3/27/04 and was found abandoned in the country. We just don't understand how someone could do that to such a sweet puppy. Tom is a bouncy, feisty, happy puppy who just can't wait to greet everyone. He enjoys using his voice to get your attention. He adores toys and will play and hunt them. Tom will be a wonderful companion.and would be best as an only child because he is so needy. He is going to need lots of positive training and someone to be with him. We prefer no children under 10 for him as he is teething and everything and everyone is a chew toy for him right now. He is crate trained.

Gabby, 10-12 weeks Female Lab / Border Collie  Mix     Adopted Gabby is a 10-12 week old lab mix puppy. She should get a stay at home with no babies as she is a baby herself and will probably grow to be an exhuberant lab. Our preference would be someone with dog experience as she's going through the mouthy/nippy stage where she loves to tug on your clothes. She will need to be redirected into more positive activities with nylabones and training.

Whiskey, 15 weeks Male Aus Cattle Dog / Lab  Mix     Adopted This handsome puppy is Whiskey. He is 9 weeks old (as of 2/1). His Mom is a purebred Labrador and Dad is a purebred Australian Cattle Dog. He was brought to us along with his two siblings since his person couldn't find him a home. He was kept outside, so he is not housetrained, however, he is ready to learn! Whiskey is very well socialized and enjoys being with people. The kids in the home played with these puppies a lot. He is very healthy with a cute, fat puppy belly. Whiskey is a real smooth and can charm any one. He knows how to give you the "poor, pitiful me" look and quickly win your heart. He is an active, playful puppy. He enjoys people and wants to meet all who come to visit. Whiskey will be a great companion.

Obie, 3-4 yr old Male keeshond  Mix     Adopted Obie was found as a stray in KY. He was in a foster home before he came to us. He is very calm, well behaved and housebroken. He loves being with you and is not demanding. He is crate trained. He gets along with cats, kids, horses and other dogs. He is always happy, smiling and will certainly cheer anyones heart.

Larissa, 1 year old Female Border Collie  Mix     Adopted This beautiful girl is Larissa. She is 10 months old (as of 2/1) and is a Border Collie mix. She looks very close to being a purebred and weighs about 35 lbs. She is a real neat dog - lots of fun and full of charm. She is active, but not hyper. She is very affectionate and is quick to rollover for a belly rub. She just wants to shower you with love! She is very smart and attentive - should train very well. She gets along fine with the other dogs at the shelter. She has been a little "iffy" with the cats - one time she growled at them, but when she got closer, she just ignored them. Larissa is a great dog who is anxious to bond and find a home.

Laser, 5 mos old Male ACD / Aussie  Mix     Adopted Laser is an Australian/Australian Shepherd mix puppy who is about 3 1/2 months old (as of 1/21). You can see that he has striking blue eyes and a blue/gray colored coat. He wasn't too excited about being on the table. He is energetic, playful and a bouncing bundle of fun. He is very friendly and enjoys meeting people. With his breed mixes, he should train very well and will be a wonderful companion.

Mollie, 1 year old Female Border Collie / Setter  Mix     Adopted This beautiful dog is Mollie. She is a Border Collie who may be mixed with Setter or possibly Spaniel. She is about 11 months old (as of 2/14). She was adopted from us before, but has been brought back. Her people ended up adopting several other dogs, which caused complaints from the neighbors. They kept the dogs that had behavior issues, and brought us the most adoptable ones. Mollie is a wonderful girl. She is already housetrained and is well-behaved inside. She is very intelligent and already knows some basic obedience. She is very eager to please and quick to respond. She is affectionate and enjoys any attention brought her way. She also enjoys meeting people. She is just fine with other dogs, and appears to be okay with cats.

Hampton, 7 mos Male Basset Hound / Corgi  Mix     Adopted Hampton is a young, happy puppy who loves everyone. He was dropped at a WV shelter and brought to MA. Please be a stay at home with no babies as he is just a baby himself. He is good with cats. He seems to be housebroken. Is timid in new situations, needs coaxing out of the crate, but once he acclimates he is fine. Just a nice submissive dog.

Snoopy, 1-2 yrs old Female Greyhound / Pointer  Mix     Adopted Snoopy is the mother dog to a recent litter of pups. She is a young greyhound mix, probably between 1-2 years old. She is medium sized as she's probably mixed with hound (hence the name Snoopy). Although one of her pups looking very pointer and the dad has no pointer in him so we're thinking pointer, possibly with whippet. She's medium-sized. She is a sweet dog and a good mom to her pups, not protective but she checks in on them and plays with them. We think she deserves a quiet home after raising such a large litter.

Minnie, 10-12 weeks Female Pointer / Greyhound  Mix     Adopted Minnie is one of a litter of pups whose mom is also with Save A Dog (Snoopy). Both parents are greyhound/pointer mixes. Minnie and her sibs are very lovable and playful. They came from an apartment situation and the land lord said all dogs must go so they were brought to a shelter in WV and from there to MA. We have seen the father and he looks like a red/white tall hound. Please have flexible hours as he is a baby and if you are a young family, please have a fenced in yard. Pups will be neutered prior to adoption.

Oddball, 10-12 Weeks Female Greyhound  Mix     Adopted Oddball is one of a litter of pups whose mom is also with Save A Dog (Snoopy). She is called Oddball because she is the only white puppy. Both parents are greyhound/hound mixes. Oddball and her sibs are very lovable and playful. They came from an apartment situation and the landlord said all dogs must go so they were brought to a shelter in WV and from there to MA. Clyde, 5 years old Male Giant Schnauzer / Lab  Mix     Adopted Clyde is a five year old male Giant Schnauzer mixed with chocolate lab. He is a big guy, weighing over 100 lbs. He was given up because new landlord would not allow large dogs. He was raised with teens.
