 Fannie

2/23/11

Hi Shirley,

I dog sat last week for a Pug and a sato from Puerto Rico, so had 5 dogs in the house. My mom and sister were visiting from the Midwest, so the house was filled with humans and canines.  I'm attaching a photo of the pups with me and my mom.  As you can see, Fannie has settled in just fine.   I did see a different side to her, though.  She was guarding her Kongs and growling whenever one of the visiting dogs got near her.  Finally, Cosmo, the 12 year old Pug, had had enough and charged her.  Thankfully, just lots of flying fur and noise, and nothing more.

I think Fannie was worried that this was just the beginning of her having to share her person and her home (and her Kongs!) with 21 dogs again.

Thought the kind lady who rescued her in West Virgina might want to see how well sweet little Fannie is doing in her new home.  So much of this is due to the care and training Fannie was given during the 9 months she was at Friends4Life.
