On 6/5/12, my little buddy Micki unexpectedly passed away.

She was my forever dog - you know the dog that no matter how many wonderful dogs you will love throughout your life, there is always one that holds a piece of your heart a little tighter? Micki was that dog. She was the constant in my life for almost 10 years and will be forever missed.

This was the last picture I took of her, about a week before she died. She doing what she loved to do the most, lounging in the grass, soaking up the sun and keeping an eye out for pesky squirrels. Thanks Save A Dog for Mick-a-doodle. She was a good dog.
