It has taken a long time to email you and every time I look at this lovely dog whom has become an integral part of our family, I think that I must thank you!

We adopted "Shawn" in April of 2006 as a companion to our 6 year old Corgi. The house became chaotic and unruly...but all the while I was falling in love with Shawn (now known as TUCKER). Sadly our corgi had to go, she ended up snapping at our daughter in a way that was unacceptable. But she is living on a 100 acre farm in Maine with a very loving adult family so all is well.

Tucker is a love, so mellow and laid back! He and the cat are friends. He loves to travel to our camp in Maine and swim in the lake and take boat rides (because the usually end up at the dock in town where there are a few dog friendly bakeries that he frequents). My daughter enjoys throwing the frisbee for him and he listens to her commands as well as anyones. Tucker is loyal and obedient....truly a perfect fit with this family. We are expecting our second child in a month or so and I have no worries that he will accept this change with ease. It would not surprise me one day if he ended up on the cover of the LLBean Catalog, he is that type of dog. So Thank You and your organization!!
