Shadow, left, a 10 month old Golden was turned in because his owner because was
moving to a place that will not take pets. He is very active, loves to play and
needs a nice family to love him. We're recommending older kids or adults only as
Shadow is full grown, but still jumps up like a puppy. He has a lot of energy and
would love to go on long walks or jogs with someone. Shadow went to a man
who had recently lost his golden. Read an excerpt from his letter below.
Dear Dave and Shirley,
I can't thank you enough for bringing Shadow, aka Yukon into my life. I really
think he loves it here. When he first came he could hardly swim a stroke, but
now I can hardly keep him out of the water. He can swim at least a mile non-stop.
He gets along great with my dog Cocoa and all the other dogs that use my beach.
Everyone loves him and comments on how handsome he is.
