Wembley is doing well and has definitely increased his energy level. I have fed him
as much as he would eat as he was on the thin side when we first got him. Now his ribs can
no longer be felt when you hug him and he has become a lot more interested in eating. He loves
to play tug of war and fetch. He is so strong I cannot even maintain a grip on his toy when we
play. At first we thought he did not ever bark but found after he settled in that he indeed was
capable and does so mostly when seeing another dog through the window. He has the hound/beagle
bark which cracks me up. He is pretty much fully house broken but still has accidents on occasion.
Right now we are trying to teach him not to jump up and not to nibble on us which he insists on doing.
He seems to hear everything except the word "no" ! I like to take him in the car when possible but
so far he gets car sick and vomits in the car. Any suggestions on helping on this would be appreciated.
I am hoping that maybe it will just take time and he will get over it.
We had my daughter's dog stay for a few days for company for Wembley and Wembley was a typical
annoying puppy to the older dog. But they managed to play alittle and Wembley tried to even use
Toby as a pillow on occasion. I will forward some pics later today of the two of them.
