 Toby & Rachel

Hi Shirley!

Thought I would send along some updated pics of the two animals we adopted from you. Toby, the dog, was adopted in October of 2002. He was a bit of a handful (still is!), and you had some concerns about him knocking down the kids (which he did, and still does when excited).....but I hope you can see from the pics of Toby and the children how much he is loved! He get along well with Annie, our older rescued shepherd mix, and helps to keep her active. He still jumps a little when he gets excited, but he is a reall love and wonderful with the kids.

The cat, Rachel, is the mother of the second litter of kittens we fostered. We just couldn't let her go! She is a delight --- "talks" to us all the time, and has absolutely NO fear of the dogs or any of the other animals or humans in the house. In fact, she amuses herself by hiding under furniture and ambushing the dogs as they walk by ---playing with their tails. Everyone is adjusting nicely!

Keep up the great work!

Jennifer Long

Hi all!

Wanted to let you know that our little Toby is just a delight! He and Annie (our other dog) are getting along famously after two weeks and a few "discussions" about dominance. They now play a lot, and really enjoy their daily runs at Callahan State Park. Toby is housbroken now, and doesn't mind being in his crate at night --- especially since he has toys and chewies in there! He is an absolute lovebug......and all three of the kids adore him. I think he has even grown noticeably in the two weeks we've had him! Thank you for approving us, and making Toby part of our family. (I have attached a couple of recent photos of him so you can see how happy he is!)

Regards,

Jennifer Long

Good boy, Toby, eat the hoof, not the shoe!
