Hi Shirley
I just wanted to let you know that Sarah has a companion, once again. We adopted Skip from
Bassett Rescue in RI - he is a rottie/bassett mix (body of a bassett, face of a rottie!).
Sarah was so thrilled when he arrived - and they've been together to sleep/eat/play ever
since he arrived. It was truly a match made in Heaven.
take care ...

Sarah is still doing well. I thought you'd like to see a picture of her sitting with my cat. The
comforter she's laying on is one she just decided to pull apart one day .. it was part of their
dog bed in my bedroom. So while I cleaned up the 'fluff' from the floor, she decided to 'share'
her bed with Trouble, my fattest, most patient cat. Sarah barks at him sometimes if he's relaxing
in a spot she wants. He doesn't move at all, just stares at her ... it's very funny.
She still has lots of puppy in her, and we're still in the 'learning' mode -- I have a feeling we
will be for a while... the more settled in she becomes, the more trouble she gets into... Bailey
(my senior male) is warming up to her slow but sure -- she lets him lick her eyes and ears now
(his favorite thing to do with my other dog)...
Hope your new year is going well!!
take care
Judy
