Shirley,
Sadie is our dog's name now (formerly Becky). I keep meaning to send you
off a picture for your "Success Stories", so I have finally attached some
for you. Her Save A Dog tag number is 343. I have recommended a few
people who are just beginning to look, to your group. You did a great job
with us, and Wendy Daigle was a super foster mom.
Sadie was the most shy dog in her litter and was the last adopted. We feel
very fortunate to have ended up with her. She went through two rounds of
training classes and has overcome her extreme shyness. She and Taylor (our
Brittany, who is 3) get along famously - running, wrestling, chasing, etc.,
even though they are complete opposite personalities! She helped tone him
down and he perked her up. Sadie has fit in well with our family (the cats
still aren't so sure though). Our daughters and Charlie just love her, and
Sadie definitely knows me as Mom. Her favorite activity is chasing balls
thrown for her. She loved my vegetable garden and ate most of the peas
before we got to them. She trained very easily on the Invisible Fence and
enjoys our acre of land, chasing Taylor, the birds and bunnies that are
around.
Thanks.
Cyndi Bailey
P.S. Wendy, thanks for the pictures. We enjoyed them. It's hard to believe
she was so small. Sadie weighs 54 pounds now and still thinks she's
starving.
