 Pixie, formerly Emma

Merry Christmas from our happy family!

We wanted to share this picture with you of our adorable Pixie (formerly Emma). Look how great she is! She has truly turned out to be a dream dog. She's lovable, smart, obedient, and cuddly--we're thrilled with her every day. She loves the family--even the school bus drivers look forward to seeing her greet the girls! True to her baby personality, she's initially shy with strangers (her Chow forbears), then as friendly and loyal a friend as anyone could want--her Collie personality shines through! And you should see her run through our woods--she's a rocket, especially when we walk with her best friend, an Aussie mix. We absolutely love her!

Thank you again for all of the kind help you folks gave us. We're so happy to hear that Save A Dog is working with our own local Dakin Shelter--we tell everyone that you're the "go-to" folks if you're looking for a new dog!

Merry Christmas to all of you, and to all of the dogs and cats. May everyone have a warm home this Christmas!

All the best,

Chris, Susan, Cassie, Meg and Pixie!!!

Hi Jane and Shirley!

We wanted to let you know that Pixie/Emma continues to do well, and we've attached a photo of the happy girls! This is actually from about a month ago--Pixie has been hitting that leggy "teenager" stage lately and looks a little less like a bear cub! Still adorable and sweet. She's now far enough out of the parvo danger zone to FINALLY get all of her shots rounded off--lovely. She's learning basic commands, and we hope to take her to a puppy obedience class soon--she's very smart! She loves her chew bones and playing fetch, but is disappointed that our cats still don't seem to want to play wrestling games with her. Go figure!

Thanks again for matching us with our wonderful pup! And if Sasha's family still would like to get in touch, we'd love to as well.

All the best,

Susan Raker and the gang
