Shirley,
We cannot thank you enough for bringing this wonderful dog into our family. I also want to
thank Barbara and Bob Keller. They were terrific Foster Parents, and very helpful with great
suggestions with respect to such things as what toys she liked, a preferred leash, using
empty Globe bags for pooper-scooping and proper grooming techniques. She has adapted to
living in the Kopel household quite well. Attached is our family photo. During the day
she often lies next to my desk while I work in my office. Whenever she senses that I am a
bit stressed she comes over to me, asking for me to pet her. That usually inspires her to
lie on her back so that I rub her belly. She is a great diversion from work. Also, I am
now getting a bit of exercise as we walk three times per day - whether I want to or
not. We changed her name from Misty to Molly (we wanted to keep the "M" alliteration at
the beginning of her name and the "E" sound at the end, so it wouldn't be a strong change
for her - Our daughter, Abigail, was recently an orphan in the play Annie at the Orpheum
in Foxboro, and Molly was the youngest orphan - therefore it appeared appropriate). We
took her to the veterinarian for her check up and registered her with the Town, and she
is very healthy and happy. She is also incredibly smart - amazing us every day!
Once again, we are so grateful to you and your wonderful organization.
Kind regards,
Phil Kopel
