Hard to believe so much time has passed - Macy is still an attention getter in our house. We are about to have a new fence installed as she has become somewhat of an escape artist. She still loves her early morning walks and all of my furniture, rugs and clothes now have a layer of "Macy fur" - my vacuum is working overtime!! She still has a ton of energy and loves to chew.

We recently "dog sat" for my daughters boss and had a pug, and a shitzu. Poor Macy had to relinquish the title of TOPDOG to the pug - it was funny to see her let someone else gather some attention for a change! I have to admit her manners are not perfect and she has been somewhat stubborn with her behaviors, but all things said, she is still a very good pet. She especially enjoys her morning walk while school is in session, because we go by the school yard and she loves children and they seem to like her as well. The mailman provides biscuits for her and we pay a visit to the corner store to get the paper and her morning greeting daily.

Everyone in the house spends some sort of time with her either walking, feeding or just socializing - she doesn't even mind the cats! All in all, she has worked out very well for us.
