Success Story

Dear Shirley and Friends at Save A Dog,
While visiting the website today, we realized that it had been quite a while since we last updated you on Koko.
We’ve attached some photos so that you can see what she has been up to – never a dull moment! Koko’s favorite place to
hang out is still the beach but late last spring she injured her cruciate ligament while running on the beach and
needed to have TTA surgery at Angell Memorial to repair her leg. They put her back together with state of the art
titanium and she is happy and healthy and running around like normal again. She is still entertained by a family of
cats but we have been thinking about adopting a canine sister for her sometime in the near future. Thank you for the
amazing work that you do and for bringing Koko into our lives. She continues to bring such joy into our lives and the
lives of our family and friends.

Hi Shirley,
We just wanted to send you this picture to add to the website. Koko is doing great!
She is an amazing pup with lots of love and energy. The picture I am attaching is of
her and her best friend, Zoe the cat. The two of them are quite funny together. Hope to
see you at Paws in the Park in June.
Take care,
Jill & Chris Soucy

Hi Becky & Shirley,
Koko has made a wonderful transition into our family. We spend a lot of time taking
walks along the sea wall at the beach and running around at the town common. Koko
alternates days at Doggy Daycare and noon time walks with her Uncle Jon. She has done
great socializing with all breeds of dogs at daycare and has slowly become best friends
with one of our three cats, Zoe. We feel very fortunate to now have Koko in our
lives - she is a true love! I have attached a couple of photos from August. All of
the more recent photos are not on the computer yet. Please let Koko's previous owners
know that she is doing great and living a very happy dog's life.
Best,
Jill
