Shirley,
We saw Brooke's picture & story in the October issue of PETS! Glad she could help make people aware
of "Save a dog". Brooke is doing great & as you can see from the attached picture, she really
enjoyed our recent hike in NH to see the foliage.
Thanks again for bringing Brooke into our lives,
-Margaret

Bonnie,
Just wanted to update you on Brooke. She is now adjusting back to life in Concord after a great summer on the Cape.
She is getting used to the kids' school routines & still loves her long walks along the wooded trails. The past 2
mornings Dave & I have taken her to a morning dog play group at the local (fenced in) park. She loves to play/run
with the other dogs. Brooke received many compliments from the other dog owners. Right now she is in the back yard
"sunning herself" - another one of her favorite pastimes. I'm not quite sure how she will react to the cold of the
New England winter. We no longer crate her - we have 2 dog beds in the house & she loves sleeping/nesting on her
bed (with an extra comforter) where the crate used to be. Overall, she seems to be one happy dog...& we are one happy family.
Hope you are well,
Margaret
