Update on August 5th, 2003
Hello Shirley,
I thought I'd send you a quick update on Bobby. I have taken so many pictures of him
to try to capture his personality but still photos don't do him justice. He makes
us laugh everyday and we are just thrilled to have him as part of our family. When
we first adopted him, he was very clingy to all of us and would not stay in a room
by himself and had to actually be touching someone at all times. He is a bit more
independent now and roams around on his own but prefers to be with someone most of
the time, especially Joe. He is happy to see us, even if we just come in from another
room, his tail is wagging. He has also become very vocal, at times it seems he is trying
to talk to us and he gets a cute and very funny smirk on his face when he wants something.
Joe has been teaching him to shake his paw and to roll over and Bobby will do pretty
much anything for an Irish cookie. I think he thinks he is just a lap dog. He just
loves to sit on your lap and cuddle and give hugs.
