 Annie, formerly Mama Mia

Happy New Year Shirley..

Just received your newsletter and I want to remind you....that people do rescue dogs and do wonders rehabilitating the dogs and giving them a good home, but REMEMBER that a little dog like our Annie has changed and made such a difference in our life I could write a book.. She has rehabilitated us, our relationship and our marriage. I have to tell you even our family physician has fallen in love with her and his office staff requests we bring her for a visit... she visits with patients in wheel chairs and those sitting and waiting and brings smiles to all of them.

You have no idea what a difference in our life this little girl has made.. We have our own pet therapy sitting with us, sleeping with us and filling our days with joy and love. We just love sending Annie stories to her foster mothers Sherry and Susan....Just today, the gas repair man on his second visit insisted upon visiting with Annie upstairs, a confirmed cat lover had Annie jump in her lap and fall asleep, seniors who have chased us store to store to show their spouse this special little dog who loves everybody.

BTW we are having great results in her using puppy pads in a little pen...if others would like to know how it's works... We have just found within the past few days she goes down there on her own in the middle of the night if nature calls..

There will be another dog...lol to join Annie....I think..

Well wishes

Sandra and Len Rubin

Dear Shirley,

When you told Sandra and me that Mama Mia was perfect for us, you couldn't have more correct, and Annie (her new name) couldn't be more of a delight for us.

When our last pooch, Alfie, died after 15 years with us, we said, "well, that's it. No more dogs". But our home just didn't seem to same with out a furry companion to share our home.

That's when we contacted you, and Annie is everything we would want in a new friend. She is the sweetest, most loving young girl! We've had her now for almost a month, and she has found a spot in our hearts and has burrowed as deeply into our heart, just as she burrows under the blankets with us each night when we go to bed.

I've attached a couple of pictures of her. Not only is she sweet....she's also photogenic!

Sandra and I both love her, and we can't say "thank you" enough for your wonderful gift to us.

Len and Sandra Rubin
