Foster A Dog,
Save A Life

You can make a difference!
Volunteer

7th Annual Dog Walk Paws in the Park 2007
Paws In the Park 2007 > Who will be at Paws in the Park 2007?
We get numerous emails from adopters asking about other dogs who have been adopted through our program. Also, the volunteers that work so hard to rescue and foster these dogs, just love seeing them again! Paws in the Park is the perfect place to meet up with the dogs and their families.

This page has gone over so well in the past years, we are going to do it again. It is for those of you who want to tell other adopters and volunteers that you will be at Paws in the Park 2007.

Send your name, dog's name, dog's former name, the month & year he/she was adopted and any brief message you would like posted. If you have a current picture, attach that too! Email your information to webmaster@saveadog.org.

New This Year! This year at 10:45am we will be holding a "Find Your Pet's Littermate" contest. If you adopted a puppy or dog who had a littermate, you are eligible to play "Find your Littermate" at 10:45 in the Main Ring. Make sure you know your original adoption date and if possible, any other siblings from your dog's litter. Then you can all walk together during the "Walk" part of our event!

We will have a bulletin board and index cards available at the Information booth. These cards can be used to write messages to siblings and/or volunteers regarding where/when to meet. We are planning to set up a meeting area. Ask at the Information booth where this area is.

Casey

We adopted Nina Totenberg (changed from Sarah) on February 23, 2007. Both Nina and our other rescue dog Jake are very excited about the upcoming Paws in the Park adventure.

Casey

We adopted Casey (formally Precious) 3/05 She was 6 months old when we adopted her. Casey attends day care during the week. She resides in Hudson and has a summer place at the Cape where she loves walking on the beach. Casey is a very affectionate, loving dog and we love her very much.

Karen & Chris

Winnie

Winnie (formerly Wynona), who was adopted on August 18, 2002, will be joining me at Paws in the Park this year. She is doing wonderfully well with our family and has morphed from a shy rescue dog who flunked out of Hearing Dog school to the Principessa Winzabella of the Paul Family of Wayland.

Maddie & Shadow

Hi Save-A-Dog,
Maddie, our Save-A-Dog dog, on the left in the pics, and Shadow are hopefully coming out to Paws in the Park on Sunday. She's doing great, and will love a day outside meeting new doggie friends (so will Shadow, who, while not a Save-A-Dog, is a rescue pooch nonetheless).

Jonathan & Megan

Lovey

Lovey (formerly Regan) was adopted last April '06. She was born in Paris, Kentucky (sometime in the fall of 2005), but now happily resides in Lincoln, where her favorite playground is Pierce Park!

Lovey is such a joy and has overcome her original shyness. She's an incredible jumper (and soccer player!), and we'll be hanging out around the agility ring in hopes of learning some new tricks.

Can't wait to see the Blue Dog Group again!

Barbara Buttler & Lovey

Brody

Brody (originally Sparky) will be there. He is one of Mandy's puppies and we adopted him in April of this year. He can't wait to see his littermates Phantom and Sadie!

Sara and Joe

Lulu

Lulu, formerly Brenda, wiil be there. We hope some of her litter mates will as well. She was adopted in September 2006 out of a litter of 5 10-week old pups who were thought to be a combination of golden/boxer. No boxer emerged but potential collie or spaniel. I'd love to see what the other pups look like now.

This picture was taken at four months. She looks similar now - just a little bigger and more like a dog than a pup.

Look forward to the event.

Susan

Sadie

Sadie is still her name!!!! She was adopted in April 07. She loves to play with her tennis ball and frisbee, and can not wait to meet new people and dogs.

Stephanie

Phantom

Sunny, one of Mandy Puppies Adopted April 2007 His name is now PHANTOM

He will be there with his mom, Michele

Lady

Hi All at Save A Dog!

It will be eight years in August that I adopted Lady from you. We are looking forward to attending Paws in the Park this year. I remember, right after Lady came home, when Shirley came to do a home visit, Lady was so happy to see her. I am hoping she will still remember her! If you were Lady's foster family, I would love to say "hi" to you as well!

See you on June 10,
Felicia & Lady

Zed

Zed (formerly Chico) was adopted last July from the Kitsap Humane Society in Silverdale, WA. Zed has become such a loveable and cuddly part of my life and such a great companion to my 9 year old Lab/Dane. It was a challenge introducing Zed, since the older resident was not particularly fond of other dogs, but they have since become inseperable. We recently traveled cross-country and the two kept me company the whole way. I cannot say enough to describe the wonderful bond they have built and the amount of love and sunshine they bring to my life. Zed is hoping to make some new friends at this years event.

Sheri Bagaglia

Strider

Strider (formerly Valentino) will be attending his first Paws in the Park and we are all quite excited. We adopted him a year ago on April first. He is enjoying his home and his huge fenced-in yard (blanketed with toys).

He loves to make new friends, so we hope to see some familar faces at Paws but new ones too.

Elizabeth and Harris

Cleo

Hi!

We will be at Paws in the Park with Cleo (formerly Sandy) this year and would love to see any of her littermates (Blazer, Tana/Freckles, Snikerz/Speckles, etc!). I think there were eight puppies in this litter adopted in July 2006 and we would love to have a little reunion. We love Cleo so much and can't imagine life without her!

Thanks,
Rachel Goldsmith and Kelly McGarr

Katie

Yeah this will be Katie's third trip to Paws. We adopted the little poodle just two years ago. She is having a great time playing iwth her older "sister" Shea. See you all soon.
