We are looking forward to bringing Guinness this Sunday. She does get super hyper around other dogs,so we aren't sure how long we will be there! May 10th is when Guinness rescued us & she has been a wonderful dog & companion. She has a little sister, Skye (yellow lab) but we are leaving Skye at home! We hope that Sweet Potatoe will be there! "Louisiana Comfort" Millie is our 4th golden. Extremely calm and "chill" around children, (big) dogs, puppies, and everyone she meets. She loves her toys, her yard, and her always active bunnies, squirrels, and bird friends who visit her daily. She loved her first New England winter with its snow and ice, and is now enjoying her first Spring. Thanks to Save-A-Dog for such a nice addition to our family.

Sophia Maria Dunham (Previously Sophia) - Adopted: March 2025

Sophia is so excited and so are we! Reunion time! She remembers her foster family's names, John, Lumbini, and Spike. She also remembers Rascal. If there's any chance that we'll see them there, she will be so very happy <3

So excited to volunteer and attend the event. My husband, Patrick, will be bringing Ziggy and we're hoping to see some of the other Outer Banks (Aussie x) puppies from his litter!

Beau (formerly Sebastian) is turning 12 years old this month. Since I brought him home in 2014 he's been an absolute pleasure. He is the sweetest boy. Thank you, Save-A-Dog, for bringing Beau and I together. We are a perfect fit.

Laney (Previously Laney) - Adopted: September 2014

Laney was found on the island of St. Thomas in someone's yard with her four puppies. She and the puppies were taken to the Rescue League on the island. When her puppies were old enough to be weaned, Laney was flown to Massachusetts, where she was taken in by Save a Dog. Some weeks later, three of her puppies were taken in by Save a Dog. Laney was in foster care for five weeks by Bev.

Hi! I did not adopt from Save A Dog (I adopted from Sweet Paws Rescue) but I volunteered here years ago when I was a teenager and considered it when I was looking to adopt. I'd love to still support Save A Dog and attend with my dog and my dad, I hope that's okay!

Tali (Previously Tali) - Adopted: April 2023

I am so thankful to Save A Dog rescue for my amazing girl Tali. We are so excited to to attend Paws In The Park this year!! Tali was just 5 months old when I adopted her & has truly blossomed into the most amazing, smart, incredibly loving now 2 year old girl!! Her and my older Sheltie Brady have an absolutely inseparable bond, they could chase eachother & play wrestle all day!! She has come such LONG way as far as her confidence, she now knows a countless number of tricks & has earned multiple trick titles. She also has become an AMAZING agility dog & started officially competing in November. She is such an amazing dog & continues to make me proud everyday. I truly don't know what I'd do without her!!!

I saw Jenny on Pet Parade on CBS Boston one Sunday morning. By the time my husband got home from golfing I had filled out all the paperwork to adopt her. When Julie brought her out from the kennel and she hopped out, we knew she was meant for us. She still bounces like Tigger when she plays. She is a joy. Jenny loves people and other dogs, cats too. People often tell us that if they could get a dog like her, they would adopt. You don't know until you try! We know that she came to Save a Dog with other puppies from her litter from Indiana and we are really hoping that some of them will be at Paws in the Park. We really look forward to attending the event and are forever grateful that we got to adopt her from Save a Dog!
