UPDATE: Sofia is recovering beautifully from the surgery and her foster Dad is adopting her! We'll get a new photo up as she now has a spring in her step and is playing with toys, THANKS TO ALL OF YOU!! We are still raising funds for this costly surgery as it ran over $10K. Thanks to our amazing community of supporters! Here's her bio: She is so sweet and deserves a soft place to land. Sofia is a beautiful, friendly senior (8-9 yrs) German Shepherd girl. Smart, mellow, and sociable, she will make a wonderful companion. She gets along well with other dogs and loves people. When Sofia was rescued, she was in a very malnourished state and is still underweight at just 58 pounds. It's clear she had a home at one time, as she was spayed when rescued. She deserves a second chance to live the life she was meant to live -- as a loving, loyal member of the family. Thank you to all who have donated so far. Thankfully, her foster family is adopting her!
