Trapper and Sadie are finally here!!! They are the sweetest dogs and really like a married couple, they're inseparable. Sadie is very playful and will chase a ball. She's a goof and loves to climb all over Trapper. Trapper is what you call, an old soul. He just looks at you with the most soulful eyes. He's really like a big teddy bear and we can't believe his name's not Teddy. He is a love. Here's their story and why we have to place them together. Trapper was dumped on a country road when less than 1 yr old. He wandered up to a farm house and the lady let him stay. He was the only dog for 3 yrs and then Sadie was dumped near there and came to the same house. The lady said "one look at Sadie and Trapper was in love". She said they were inseparable for over a year. When their owner became ill, she gave them up with the wish that they be placed together, so we'd like to try our hardest to do that. They were used to being inside at night and outside a lot during the day ...she said. They seem fine inside as far as we can tell. They have been crating well here, in the same crate is what they like best. They are friendly (Trapper will lick your face off if allowed to), good dogs. They need a home together....Trapper would be lost without Sadie. They love attention from people and are also happy playing together. Trapper is around 5 and Sadie 2 ½. We heard that they will chase an outdoor cat, so we're not sure how they are with cats. We'd like to place these two together, if possible, and will discount the adoption to get them a home. If you can't adopt, would you consider donating to help offset their expenses or posting their photos at your office or veterinary bulletin board so that they have a better chance of being placed together?
