Riley, 1 year or so Male Lab / Shepherd  Mix Riley is a Lab mix who was given up by a family and the 14 year old daughter was tasked with trying to find him a home. A "friend" took him and next thing he was in a kill shelter with only a few days to live. Our rescue angel paid the fee to release him and now we are looking for an adopter with a big heart to give him his forever home. He was listed as a lab/chow, which would certainly be a death sentence for a dog in the south, but his rescuer says he is small (40# maybe), cute, friendly and is a lab mix...looks nothing like a chow. The neighbor who had him says he is 9 mo old...shelter said 2 years. The girl said he is a doll.....good with her 2 and 4 year old siblings and with her. He might be the perfect family dog. The transport group said he was a favorite as he would do his business as soon as you took him for a walk. Would you consider giving Riley a home?
