Cricket has found a home! She will be going home this week to a wonderful couple who came and fell in love with her. Cricket, we will miss you, but are so happy you have finally found your forever home! Much thanks to all of her sponsors!!
Former Update on Cricket. Cricket is doing great. She is fully recovered from her surgery and has even taken to carrying around her favorite squeakie. She's taken over the big dog bed in her foster home, so the big dog sleeps in her little bed. She is an easy-keeper, just likes to hang around, lying on the dog beds or stealing bully sticks out of our retail room. She had surgery on 12/7/07 and two benign mammory growths were removed, as well as one rotten tooth, and she was spayed. She has a clean bill of health and is now ready for her own home with her own lap. Cricket is a 12 yr old Cairn terrier mix who was relinquished by a woman who was living in a women's shelter. She has a spunky personality and a little spring to her walk and is just the darling of Save A Dog right now, so we are looking for "rescue angels" who will spread the word to all your senior citizen friends. She would be great for a retiree or a shut-in. We are looking for a loving home for her and will happily subsidize the adoption to a senior who wants a little lap dog. She weighs about 13 lbs. She deserves a loving retirement home where she can be someone's little princess. Thank you to the rescue angels who sponsored her surgery. We could still use a few more angels so that we can break even, but more importantly, spread the word so that she finds a great home!
