Rebel is a 10 month old male retriever mix with many features of a Golden, except he has shorter hair. He was living with his pal, Dolly, in a foster home in TN and had taken to escaping and going on daily adventures because the yard was not secure, so we rescued them before they got hit by cars. Rebel is an awesome dog and everyone's favorite. He is affectionate and very smart. He is really focused on people and crave the leadership that he deserves. He is great with other dogs and he and Dolly would wrestle all day long. He crates well, doesn't make a sound and is good on leash, except for some pulling that is easy to fix. He obeys some basic commands and he listens well. If you tell him to stop doing something, he will stop. Rebel loves the snow!!!! He runs at full speed around the property and thru the woods til he is exhausted—comes inside and falls asleep till he wakes up and does it again—he is a fun, wonderful pup bur still has the chewies— so far has tried to eat a dining room chair, some Elmer’s glue, two hats and three towels plus of course,the fringe on all the rugs—but he is wonderful!!
He will be at our Meet and Greet on Saturday, 12/15, at Mahoney's Garden Center in Wayland from 11-1 PM. Applications sent ahead of time will be printed and reviewed with you at the event.
