I’m Monk, an 18-pound, 4-month-old BostonTerrier/Boxer mix. I have a sad story: my mom was hit by a car when my siblings and I were still with her, but some nice people took us off the road and called a rescue to help. I have been in a foster home since then, and my foster mom says I am an absolute joy to be around! I’m super snuggly – she says “cuddling is the number one priority for this kiddo, he loves to be held and handled.” She says I’m super special and “is the type of dog that will be someone’s heart dog.” I play well with other dogs, and I have loved the children I’ve met. I’m smart and learn new things quickly – I learned crate training in just two days, and if I’m let out frequently, I have no accidents in the house. I thrive on positive reinforcement and will be a lot of fun to train because of my intelligence level and eagerness to please.
