I’m Rusty, a 5-month-old, 22-pound Parson Russell Terrier mix. I'm in a foster home, and my foster mom says I'm one of the smartest, most fun dogs she has known! I’m friendly and outgoing, and I get along with humans and dogs alike. Even though I'm just a baby, I walk very politely on leash, and I adore exploring the neighborhood and meeting new people. I'm brave and not afraid of noises, thunder, or fireworks. I ride well in the car, I'm crate trained, and I'm nearly housetrained -- I have already started signaling to go out. I sleep 7-8 hours a night. I love to learn new things and am super smart so will be a lot of fun to train. I definitely have a terrier streak of mischief in me, but I also respect boundaries well. I even taught myself to lie down on the floor outside the pantry to wait for my foster mom to make me breakfast! I adore playing with toys of all kinds, especially the squeaky ones, and I will bring back a ball and drop it at your feet for a game of fetch. I’m also already neutered, and I don't lift my leg or mark at all. I'm filled with love and joy and will make my new family very happy!
