UPDATE: Bobbie Jean has recovered completely from her bout with pancreatitis. Thanks for your donations and support. We will continue to fund raise for her, but she is available for adoption and is a spunky, active little girl. Bobbie says, I’m Bobbie Jean, a 3-year-old, 11-pound Dachshund. I was on my own down South and taken in by a kind rescuer who saw I deserved a chance at a great life. I'm in a foster home right now, where I have been while recovering from pancreatitis, but now I'm all better and ready for my forever family! My foster mom says I'm a total love with a zest for life. I adore going on walks to sniff and explore. I'm very responsive to commands and to positive reinforcement, and I'm smart, so I learn new things and adapt to new routines quickly. I sleep on my own on my dog bed and am patient and quiet when crated; I'm also housetrained. I'm super food motivated and love to eat! I like meeting new people and am friendly to mellow, submissive dogs. I am a Dachshund, so no cats or other little critters, please, as I like to chase them.
