I'm Mickey, an 8-week-old Dachshund mix puppy. Our mom is Minnie (also available), who was rescued from a hoarding situation in Louisiana, but my siblings and I were born after that, so we have always known love and care. I'm in a foster home right now, and I'm doing great! I already sleep through the night for six hours at a stretch and am picking up housetraining quickly. I settle easily in a pen or crate while my foster humans are busy, and I'm a good eater. I love all toys -- especially balls -- and I play appropriately and happily with the other dogs in the home. I adore being outside and am very curious and confident. I'm affectionate and like to snuggle and give kisses. Like all young puppies, I will benefit from someone being home most of the time.
