I’m Jasmine, a sweet Pug – a happy girl despite my challenging history. I came into rescue with my sister, Flutter (also available). We share the same sad story of being used for breeding purposes only, not valued for the wonderful companion animals we are. I was surrendered after complications in my last litter of puppies, who came up north and were adopted. I had to stay behind because it was discovered I had two luxating patellas (dislocated kneecaps). I underwent surgery, and my rescuers say I made it through the recovery “like a super star,” remaining my cheerful self. I love all people, I get along well with dogs and cats alike, and I am great with kids and have lived in foster home with children ages 2 to 12. I’m crate trained, ride well in the car, and walk nicely on a leash. I can be adopted with my sister or find my own home, but I would love to have another dog there because that’s what I’m used to.
