I'm Rabbit, a sweet, happy 18 month old Shepherd mix. I'm very friendly and get along great with kids, other dogs, and really everyone I meet! I lived with two cats and tended to ignore them. I'm house trained 100%. In TX I was about to be euthanized as the shelter needed to make room for the dogs rescued from the CA fires, but I was rescued by Save A Dog by the kind volunteers who took me in. I'm vaccinated and neutered. My foster mom says, "Rabbit is such a gentle soul. He’s quite the cuddle bug! He looks to engage with his people in the home, wants to know where they are so he can spend time with them. He makes great eye contact and knows several commands and is eager to learn more. Rabbit loves taking walks and exploring the neighborhood and local State Park. He is VERY gentle and friendly with other dogs, people and children. He has a moderate level of energy for a German Shepherd. He loves chasing after a ball or a toy. After a walk he settles in for a long nap and in his down time he’ll chew on a bully stick or antler, no resource guarding either."
Now all I need is a loving family to give me a second chance. Did I mention that I know all my commands? I'm not too big, either, at 61 lbs.
