Birdie is a miracle rescue from Louisiana. This brave dog showed up in line at a fast food place when folks ordered fried chicken and she would sit at attention. Then she would move down to the window and some would throw a fry or something. She never gave up. But, when Kim the rescuer saw her, she was so moved by this dog's will to survive that she opened her car door and Birdie hopped right in. Our sister rescue, LAMA, stepped up and put her into foster care and treated her for heart wormsl. Whoever adopts you, Birdie, is going to be one lucky human! She's 2.5 years old and spayed.
