I’m Catelyn, a 4-year-old, 63-pound Golden Retriever. Through no fault of my own, I was surrendered by my owner who was a breeder in Louisiana. I am very frightened and hesitate to leave my safe place when it's time to go outside. Easy access to the out doors would be a plus while I gain confidence. Another dog would bring me out of my shell. I’m good with other dogs and I love puppies. Once I'm outside I walk well on a leash but in a new environment I will "pancake" and have to be carried. A fenced in yard is a must as i need to eliminate off leash without people standing too close. The volunteers will bring me out and then turn their backs and I'll go right away.
