I'm Tyson, a 2-year-old German Shepherd, and I need a new home. I used to live with a local family, but with a toddler and a baby on the way, they weren't able to care for me anymore. I'm good-natured, affectionate, and smart, and I'm athletic and not super active. I have lived with cats (and like to play with them, so any cat in my new home will need to be okay with that!). My foster from Save A Dog says I walk well on leash and love going for walks; I also really like playing with squeaky toys and riding in the car, and I get along great with her grandchildren. I'm completely housetrained and sleep all night peacefully on my dog bed; I will also self-amuse with a kong toy or bully stick. I already know a number of commands, including stay and come, and I am excellent with handling, even getting my paws wiped off after being out in the rain! My tail is sometimes curly but sometimes hangs low, as my pictures show. I would love a family with someone who works from home. GSD experience is a plus!
