Jack, ~ 1 year Male Border Collie  Mix Jack is a young neutered Border Collie who is about a year or so old. He has puppy energy outside, but is calmer inside. He still has the Border Collie "herding dog" traits and will grab your hand if he wants attention. He would do great with an active adopter who likes to hike or be outside, someone who understands the breed. Jack is super smart and loves to learn and he comes right away when you ask him to come inside. He loves to play in the pool during the warmer weather. He loves his treats. He was originally dropped off with at a disabled Veteran home and he reminded one of the Veteran's of a dog from his past and he let him stay. But he wasn't able to take care of him because of his disability. Jack needs an experienced handler, not a first-time dog adopter.
