Holly is a one year old Heeler mix who came from a hoarding situation along with Dottie and others. She was an inside dog. She's a sweetheart of a dog. She gets excited at feeding time and turns circles when you are bringing her food. She loves playing outside and loves playing with other dogs. She likes to run. She likes to do her own thing. She will come up to you to pet her when she wants love. She ignores cats. Her foster Dad says, "Holly is a calm and gentle girl. Once she's warmed up to you after a few days, she loves just hanging out and sitting near you. She will probably prefer a quiet home -- she's kind of an "old soul" -- but would likely enjoy having a similar-personality dog playmate to live with. She's played respectfully with my small, older female dog.
Holly is completely housebroken and is learning some commands such as Come and Stay. She is hesitant to go in her crate, but once in there, settles down quickly and sleeps through the night without a peep. She's a sweetheart and an easy keeper." Available 3/7/23.
