Sidney is a mini Aussie female who is about 11 months old. She is a very devoted dog who latches onto one or two people and is totally bonded. She was not exposed to small children so we are working with her on that but she is a herding breed so we wouldn't recommend children anyway. She is full house trained and very quiet in the house, just love to sit by your side. She is the easiest and most well behaved, sweet and adorable little dog in the house. No begging at the table, no countersurfing, she stays off the bed,sleeps quietly on her blanket through the night, and is content to snooze velcroed to her foster mom's feet for long hours when she is at her desk, and is so happy for attention, not mouthy when playing. She seems to prefer a rural environment as she is alarmed at city noises. She needs some leash work outside as she will bark and lunge at other dogs. She is fine with the household dogs in the back yard, but not while on leash. We think she would excel as an only pet in a quiet adult household.
