Poe, 1 year Female Dachshund/Rat Terrier

Poe is a 22 lb. Dachshund/Rat Terrier mix. Moon and Poe were living on their own for a couple of months along with several others down in Louisiana.
She is spayed, heartworm negative and has received a Proheart 6 shot for protection against heartworm. The foster mom says, "Poe is my little shadow. She wants to go where I go, sleep where I sleep. She will do ANYTHING for any type of food. She loves to sleep on the back of the couch, or if we’re on the bed she sleeps on my pillow or with her head on my pillow. She isn’t afraid to bark at things that confuse her and she has a lot of personality for such a small baby. She isn’t picky with what type of food she eats. She loves to give hugs. She’ll walk up to you, and “fall” against you and press her face to your face and just let you hold her, which I haven’t experienced from a dog before. We call her Poe, Poe Poe, Moe, and Moo Moo. She will be your best friend and shadow if you let her.
They both get along with other dogs. They would do great in a home together, or especially with other chill dogs. They both do great in the car, and usually just sleep the whole time. Moon is more likely to look out the window though. No matter what though, they're both really good girls and only deserve the best in life."
