Mary Ann is one of the happiest dogs you have ever met. Maybe its because she remembers what it was like to be hungry, cold, and unloved. Maybe its because she is so grateful for a full bowl, a warm bed, an occasional yummy treat, and a foster mom who gives her hugs and kisses. She gives the best leg hugs! She grabs you with both front legs and squeezes tight to your leg until you hug her back and give her nose kisses. She is grateful for everything and loves unconditionally; she is beautiful inside and out! Her Louisiana foster mom is nursing a broken heart because she misses her so much. But she cannot wait to see her with her new family, with a new person who will love her back with the same enthusiasm. Mary Ann likes food and cuddles. She likes cats but her level of affection is upsetting to most felines. She’s good with other dogs, but her energy level needs to be a match. She does not like loud noises. She does very well in a kennel. She loves kids and does very well with them. She was rescued with Gilligan and he found a home, but Mary Ann had to be treated for heart worms before coming up to find her forever home.
