Hope, 1 year Female Retriever  Mix
Hope
Hope

Hope is a one year old Doodle/Retriever mix who was rescued in Indiana. She is recovering from a broken leg and will receive an orthopedic work-up on 11/23. She was the last of the 3 pups to be picked up by animal control. Faith and Credence are her siblings. Hope will need a fenced yard and to be kept on leash until she has settled in with her new family. With the right dog-savvy adopter, she will flourish and blossom. Apply at http://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp After just 3 days in a foster home, Hope has settled in beautifully. She was timid and a little skittish at first, but now she is receptive to human love and affection. Her foster says, “Hope is such a sweet, gentle girl. She loves to run and play in the yard. She chases balls, and she loves squeaky toys. She is still a puppy, so along with plenty of exercise, she also requires some supervision around the house. But she’s playful rather than destructive. She will pick up a sock or shoe, or put her paws on the kitchen counter for a sniff, so she will benefit from some training and positive reinforcement. Hope is used to sleeping in her crate, and she sleeps through the night without a peep -- unless her foster forgets to remove the squeaky toys!
